Blackhawk
Recreation Area-Partly
owned by the county and partly by the Army
Corps of Engineers, this rural park provides
a peaceful spot for camping and opportunities
to swim in the river. The boat dock is handicapped
accessable. From LaCrosse, take Hwy. 35 south
through Victory. Turn west on Cty. BI. Picnic
tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, tent sites,
trailer sites, swimming beach, playground.
Jersey
Valley park-Manmade
Jersey Valley lake is a popular fishing spot,
and the park provides a handicapped-accessable
pier. The day-use park also includes a picnic
area, a playground and a four-mile hiking
trail that encircles the park. From the junction
of Hwy. 14/61 and Hwy. 27 is Westby, take
Hwy. 27 north to Cty. X. Turn east on Cty.
X and continue to the park. Picnic tables,
picnic shelter, outhouses, swimming, hiking,
playground, boat landing.
Rentz
Memorial Park-Used
minimally by camper, this park draws local
residents for picnicking and recreation. A
playground and five small fishing ponds provide
fishing for the children. From LaCrosse, take
Hwy. 14-61 east to Cty. , just past Coon Valley.
Turn soutj on B and continue to the park.

tent sites, trailer sites, hiking, playground,
boat landing.
Sidie
Hollow Park-You
can pitch a tent almost anywhere in this seclude
park, choosing either open field or more rugged,
primitive surroundings. A hiking trail encircles
Sidie Hollow Lake, a small manmade lake used
frequently by angles and boaters. From Viroqua,
take Hwy. 56 west to Cty. XX. Turn south and
continue to the park. Picnic tables, picnic
shelter, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites,
hiking, playground, boat landing.
