ABOUT
THE AREA
Collins Park, located three miles
Southwest of Rosholt, Wisconsin, is
just one of 24 areas managed by the
Portage County Parks Department. This
21 acre wooded park is adjacent to
the 42 acre Collins Lake which provides
easy access for fisherman, boaters,
and swimmers. There’s a picnic
lodge, boat ramp, playground equipment,
trailer dump station, and small swimming
beach.
CAMPING
INFORMATION
The 27 site campground is open May
15 – September 30. All sites
are provided with electrical hookups.
Approximately half the sites can be
reserved. Reservations are made at
the Portage County Parks office, either
in person, through the mail, or by
telephone with Master Card or VISA
and must be made at least 7 days in
advance of when a site is to be occupied.
Reservations are accepted up to 11
months in advance. The campground
also has a handicapped site that can
be reserved. Toilet facilities in
the campground are pit vaults. A flush
toilet building is located in the
picnic area. A seasonal park manager
lives in the park.
DUBAY
PARK

ABOUT
THE AREA
DuBay
Park, located 13 miles northwest of
Stevens Point, Wisconsin is just one
of 24 areas managed by the Portage
County Parks Department. This 51 acre
park is bordered on the east by the
600 acre Lake DuBay which provides
easy access for fishermen, boaters,
water skiers, and swimmers. There’s
a large picnic area, picnic lodge,
boat ramp, trailer dump station, playground
equipment, swimming beach, and baseball
field.
DRIVING
DIRECTIONS
Take
Hwy 10 West out of Stevens Point;
5 miles out of Stevens Point turn
right on County Hwy E; drive 7 miles.
You will come to Dubay County Park
which is on both sides of the road.

31 site campground is open May 1 –
October 31. All sites are provided
with electrical hookups. Approximately
half the sites can be reserved. Reservations
are made at the Portage County Parks
office, either in person, through
the mail, or by telephone with Master
Card or VISA and must be made at least
7 days in advance of when a site is
to be occupied. The campground also
has two handicapped sites that can
be reserved. All toilet facilities
in the park are pit vaults. A seasonal
park manager lives in the park.
JORDAN
PARK
ABOUT
THE AREA
Jordan Park, located two miles northeast
of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, is just
one of 24 areas managed by the Portage
County Parks Department. This 271
acre park has the 85 acre Jordan Pond
and Plover River flowing through it.
There’s a large picnic area,
picnic lodge, open pavilion, showers,
boat ramp, trailer dump station, playground
equipment, nature center, nature trail,
swimming beach, and baseball field.
CAMPING INFORMATION
The 22 site campground is open May
1 – October 31. In addition
to the main campground, three canoe
campsites adjacent to the Plover River
exist. All sites except the canoe
sites are provided with electrical
hookups. Approximately half the sites
are reservable. Reservations are made
at the Portage County Parks office,
either in person, through the mail
or by telephone with Master Card or
VISA and must be made at least 7 days
in advance of when a site is to be
occupied. The campground also has
a handicapped site that can be reserved.
LAKE
EMILY PARK
Amherst
Junction, WI
ABOUT
THE AREA
Lake Emily Park, located just west
of Amherst Junction, Wisconsin is
just one of 24 areas managed by the
Portage County Parks Department. This
143 acre park is adjacent to the 96
acre Lake Emily which provides easy
access for fishermen, boaters, water
skiers and swimmers. There’s
a large picnic area, two picnic lodges,
showers, boat ramp, trailer dump station,
playground equipment, nature trail,
swimming beach, and baseball field.
CAMPING
INFORMATION
The campground is open from May 1
to October 31. The north campground
has 51 sites and the new south campground
has 15 sites. All sites except the
tent sites are provided with electrical
hookups. Approximately half the sites
are reservable.
The
sites can be reserved by contacting
the Parks Office. Reservations are
made at the Portage County Parks office,
either in person, through the mail
or by telephone with Master Card or
VISA and must be made at least 7 days
in advance of when a site is to be
occupied. The campground also has
two handicapped sites that can be
reserved.
