Governor's
Bend Park-This is a nice little spot
for a picnic. The outhouses are handicapped
accessible. Take Hwy. 33 to Cty. F. Go north
3 miles on F and turn on Fox River Road. Take
Fox River Road to Lock Road and turn left
again. Picnic tables, outhouses.
Highway
44 Wayside-Travelers can enjoy a
picnic break at this wayside, on the edge
of Park Lake. The lake is popular with water
enthusiasts, who can launch a boat, waterski,
swim or fish. Anglers can expect to see northern
pike, bass, bluegill and crappie. Outhouses
are handicapped accessible. From Pardeeville
go 1/2 mile north on Hwy. 44. Picnic tables,
outhouses, swimming, boat landing.
Lake
George Park-Visitors can swim, launch
their boats and fish for bass and bluegill
at this very small park. Take Hwy. 51 north
to Cty. P. Go east two miles on Cty. P, about
1/2 mile past West Bush Road. Outhouses, swimming,
boat landing.
Owen
Park-Picnic up high on a scenic hilltop.
The outhouses are handicapped accessible.
Take Hwy. 78 five miles southwest of Hwy.
90-94 to Owen Park Road and turn right. Go
1 1/2 miles to the park entrance. Picnic tables,
outhouses.
Wyona
Park-Anglers can fish off the bridge
over Duck Creek for northern pike, bluegill
and bass. The park also offers a place to
launch a boat, a playground and a few picnic
tables. From Wyocena, go east on Cty. G and
take the first left, which is about 1/4 mile
down the road. Picnic tables, playground,
boat landing.
