Three of the campsites have a nice overlook of the lake. Each site offers a parking spur, fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. The campsites can accommodate RV's up to 30 feet. Drinking water, vault toilets, and a boat launch are available. The North Country National Scenic Trail is adjacent to the campground. Nearby is Springbrook, which is Class 1 brook trout stream. Lake Three has bass and panfish waiting for your line. While you're in the area, be sure to visit Morgan Falls, St. Peter's Dome, and the Penokee Overlook.

Travel west from Mellen on County Highway GG, then turn right (north) on forest Road 187.
